The Choir for the Persecuted Church is a semi-professional choir that focuses on singing a variety of music that emphasizes empathy with the suffering Christians in the Middle East. We perform liturgical music from the various traditions of Christianity in the Middle East, including but not limited to: Chaldean, Maronite, Syriac, Coptic, Georgian, Armenian and Byzantine chant, but also perform other sacred music such as Rachamninov, Chesnokov, Taverner, and Herbert Howells. We also perform music that is commissioned for the choir that incorporates some of these rarer Christian chant.
Stay tuned to find out when our next performances will be!
